Malaysia’s young table tennis talent Mohd Dania claimed the U15 Girls’ Singles title at the WTT Youth Contender Bangkok II 2026, giving Malaysia a notable international success on the junior circuit.
The tournament was held in Bangkok, Thailand, from September 9 to 12, 2026, featuring multiple age-group events across boys’ and girls’ singles as well as mixed doubles.

Dania’s victory adds another international title to her growing junior career. The Malaysian player, born in 2012, has already established herself as one of the country’s promising young players on the WTT Youth circuit.

Malaysia also secured a bronze medal in the U19 Mixed Doubles, with Lee Hong An and Cheah Yu Zheng reaching the semi-finals before losing 1–3 to Japan’s Nakano Kohaku and Takahashi Aoba.
The result highlights the growing presence of Malaysian junior players in international WTT competition and provides valuable momentum for the next generation of Malaysian table tennis.
