VIENTIANE, Laos — Malaysia’s young table tennis prospect Mohd Dania Elisha Airul Hafis continued to impress on the international stage after finishing as the runner-up in the U15 Girls’ Singles event at the WTT Youth Contender Vientiane 2026.

Dania delivered a strong performance throughout the tournament before reaching the final, where she faced Sie Jhih Chen of Chinese Taipei in the championship match.
Despite a determined effort, Dania was edged out by her opponent, losing 5–11, 7–11, 10–12 to settle for the silver medal.
The achievement adds another international podium finish to Dania’s growing list of accomplishments. Earlier in 2026, the Malaysian youngster captured the Girls’ Under-15 Singles title at the SEA Youth Table Tennis Championships 2026, highlighting her potential as one of Malaysia’s promising young talents.
With consistent performances in international youth competitions, Dania continues to showcase the strength of Malaysia’s next generation of table tennis players and remains a name to watch in the future.
