KUALA LUMPUR: Small in size, but mighty in talent. Meet Azhar Habib, the young Malaysian table tennis sensation who has been recognised as the world’s No. 2 player in the Under-11 category.

The rising Malaysian star, whose full name is Habib Adrian Bin Muhamad Suhaidin Azhar, achieved an outstanding milestone by winning the Under-11 Boys (BU11) title at the WTT Youth Contender Cappadocia 2026.
In the final, Azhar Habib defeated Turkey’s Ege Bolat with a commanding 3–0 victory (11–7, 11–9, 11–9). Earlier in the semi-final, he overcame Iraq’s Younus Ahmed in a thrilling five-game battle, winning 3–2.
This victory highlights Azhar Habib’s ability to compete at the international level and shows that he is on the right path to becoming one of the future stars of Malaysian table tennis.
