Malaysia celebrated another international table tennis success as Muhammad Faiz and Mohd Dania Elisha Airul Hafis captured the U15 Mixed Doubles title at the WTT Youth Star Contender Tunis 2026.
The Malaysian combination produced an impressive run through the tournament, overcoming international opposition to reach the final before completing their campaign as champions.
Their victory added another gold medal to Malaysia’s strong showing in Tunis and underlined the potential of the country’s next generation of table tennis talents.
The result was particularly significant for Mohd Dania, who completed a remarkable double-title triumph at the tournament. In addition to winning the U15 Mixed Doubles crown with Muhammad Faiz, she partnered Choo Ke Ying to victory in the U15 Girls’ Doubles.
Winning two titles at the same WTT Youth Star Contender event marked an outstanding achievement for the young Malaysian and further strengthened Malaysia’s presence on the international youth table tennis circuit.
