Malaysia recorded a strong showing at the WTT Feeder Puerto Princesa 2026, with its players reaching the podium in both the Mixed Doubles and Women’s Doubles events.
Yap Rui Zhe and Tee Ai Xin secured the Mixed Doubles silver medal after reaching the final. The Malaysian pair defeated the Philippines’ John Russel Misal and Kheith Rhynne Cruz 3–1 in the semi-finals, winning 11–9, 5–11, 11–7, 13–11.
In the final, Yap and Tee faced South Korea’s Choi Jiwook and Lee Daeun, finishing as runners-up.
Malaysia also claimed a bronze medal in Women’s Doubles, with Karen Lyne and Tee Ai Xin reaching the semi-finals. The Malaysian pair defeated South Korea’s Lee Yeonhui and Lim Jisoo 3–2 before losing 1–3 to Chinese Taipei’s Chien Tung-chuan and Li Yu-jhun in the semi-final.
The results gave Malaysia one silver and one bronze medal at the WTT Feeder event in Puerto Princesa.
