TUNIS, Tunisia — Malaysia’s Mohd Dania Elisha Airul Hafis and Choo Ke Ying were crowned U15 Girls’ Doubles champions at the WTT Youth Star Contender Tunis 2026, adding another notable international title to Malaysia’s youth table tennis campaign.
The Malaysian pair faced Albane Rochut and Lisa Zhao in a tightly contested final and emerged victorious with a 3–2 win.
Dania and Ke Ying took the opening game 11–7 before their opponents levelled the match. The Malaysians regained the advantage in the third game, but Rochut and Zhao fought back again to force a deciding fifth game.
Showing composure under pressure, Dania and Ke Ying dominated the decider 11–3 to complete a 11–7, 5–11, 11–9, 9–11, 11–3 victory and secure the championship.
The triumph reflects the growing competitiveness of Malaysia’s young table tennis players on the international stage and represents another encouraging result for the country’s youth development programme.
